I felt lethargic on Monday morning. I proposed to myself that I needed self-care and spent time taking deep breaths on Hibiscus's balcony and then soaked in the bathtub. Paladin spent time cleaning things that he brought from Snowland.

I was returning to myself, slowly. For weeks I'd felt more like I was a human-doing, and less of a human-being. The day after my wedding with Hibiscus I had felt abandoned and lost when he went out to eat with his friends, and then what? I'd resigned myself to it all - my new life. I am beginning to wonder if having plants in this house makes you significantly more likely to have bugs or something... Or perhaps it's the change in season... But I'm feeling like neither of those are adequate for the sudden quantity of bugs I've gone on missions to squash.

A minute ago I thought I saw a spider. I wasn't sure, so I slapped my glasses on, but it had gone over the edge of the table. My brother (Sheep), dad, mom and I all played two games of Power Grid. First on the America map and then on the Central Europe map. I won both of them, but they were both close games. It was only by a little.
